ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Abhishek Shetty is an educational blogger and learning
researcher. In 2013, he took a year off from college, to
undertake a research project titled, 'Education from a
Student Perspective in India'. The objective was to visit
and study innovative learning spaces and educational
institutions across the country and to collect answers from
students and teachers, to this question, 'How do you make
Learning Beautiful?' He was fortunate to interact with over 20,000
students in 120 schools in 15 cities during the year. He documents his
observations on a blog titled, 'Learning is Beautiful'

research project. In 2014, he presented his findings to 800 teachers at the

Adit Ambani is currently a tenth grade student in the
American School of Bombay and after sixteen years of
living in India which comprises of one third of the world’s
hungry people, he was shocked to find out about the
amount of food that ASB wastes, He has made a consistent
effort as a part of the Student R&D Sustainability group to
try and reduce the quantity of food wasted by the school.
Adit believes that composting as well as other similar methods are what
will make ASB a sustainable school in the future.
Alex Park is currently a 9th grader at the American School
of Bombay. He came here in the second semester of his
9th grade. He has lived in Korea, UAE, and the U.S. Before
he came to the American School of Bombay, he went to
Westwood High School in Austin, Texas. He enjoys music,
and keeps on trying to learn new things. He is social, and
enjoys talking to all kinds of people. He hopes he can go to
a college in the U.S when he graduates.
