Future Forwards: Exploring Frontiers in Education
Andrea Reinsmoen is a middle school teacher from a
diverse background in many ways. She grew up in Ecuador,
where she attended an American International School, and
celebrated her mother’s British nationality and Dad’s Swiss
heritage. As she graduated from High School, she explored
programming (during the Pascal and then language C
period), food science, and technology. She got a degree in
milk products, then worked in the hotel and catering industry until she
realized that during all that time she was continuously doing what she
enjoyed the most, teaching. She now holds a Secondary Teaching Degree
in English, French, and Spanish from the University of Fribourg in
Switzerland and a Masters of Arts in Education on Differentiated
Instruction. She has lived in Ecuador, Switzerland, Dubai, U.S.A, and India.
Being part of the Research and Development team at ASB has been a
great way to share her enthusiasm about the shifts education must make
to better prepare our children for the future. You can connect with
