Krish Khurana is currently a Grade 10 student at the
American School of Bombay. Krish has had experience in a
few leadership roles in clubs such as the Student Council,
but the Student R&D team is the first time he actually was
able to have an opportunity to create change in one of his
communities. Krish has lived in India for 13 years and truly
believes that wastage of any kind needs to be reduced and
if possible, avoided. Currently he has been working on a composting unit
for the school to use, but believes that through various student led teams,
the school will be able to flourish in a sustainable manner.
Kunaal Bhargava is currently tenth grader at the American
School of Bombay. Kunaal has used the design thinking
process as a part of many in-class projects and different
CSR clubs. However, as a member of the Student R&D
team, Kunaal has been able to use the design thinking
process to create feasible and sustainable solutions for the
ASB community. Kunaal is completing his seventh year at
the ASB and through his participation in the Student R&D team, he hopes
to make ASB as sustainable as possible. Currently, he is working with the
Student R&D team to try to implement composting in ASB. Kunaal
believes by developing more sustainable ideas, ASB will be able to excel.
